Catie Makinson

Catie Makinson is mom to Nia & Thatcher, plus a dog named Covey. She had her husband Adam have been married for 11 years. She began the homeschooling journey a year ago when she felt God’s call for something to change in her children’s education and hasn’t looked back since! Besides homeschooling she is also a wedding and portrait photographer. When she has time she loves being anywhere near water, crochet, watercolors, camping, all things vintage, and meeting for coffee. Catie received her BS in Youth Ministry with a minor in Educational Ministry from Huntington University. Photography had always been a hobby until God pushed her to turn it into something more. She is looking forward to getting back to her ministry and teaching roots while teaching something she loves to students.
