Bright Ideas Practical Math and Life Skills (St. Therese Mondays Session C 10:40-11:25 a.m.) approximately 3rd-7th

A fun, low key, hands-on class for helping kids with special learning needs develop practical math and life skills.

Could your elementary-age (approximately grades 3-7) child use extra help and a slowed-down approach to developing life skills? In this fun class for children with special needs of any kind, we will work together using a variety of methods to cover topics including money, time, and maps/navigation. We will also practice interpersonal skills by playing games! A caregiver is welcome to accompany each student to class, especially if extra help is needed for communication, behavior, and/or fine motor skills. Class periods may also include gross motor activities to promote sensory integration and brain connectivity.

** All classes require online family registration and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost of the class is due no later than the first day of each semester in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to the teacher. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
