Discover the magic of classical music in this interactive adventure!
Our exciting journey through music history will explore the lives and works of some of the world’s greatest composers! In this hands-on, movement-based class, young learners will be introduced to the beauty of classical music through active listening, creative expression, and fun, engaging activities.
Each week, we will focus on a new composer from a different musical era, using games, storytelling, movement, and art to bring their music to life. From marching in a royal parade to Baroque music to painting dreamy watercolor soundscapes inspired by Impressionist melodies, children will experience music in a way that is playful, immersive, and meaningful.
Through movement, rhythm games, pretend play, and simple hands-on activities, students will:

🎵 Explore how music tells stories and expresses emotions
🎵 Learn to recognize different musical styles and instruments
🎵 Engage in interactive activities like dancing, drumming, and acting out musical stories
We will also have fun group activities like voting for favorite pieces, pretending to be composers, and celebrating the year with a musical showcase! No prior music experience is needed—just a love for fun and a curiosity for beautiful sounds.

** All classes require online family registration and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost of the class is due no later than the first day of each semester in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to the teacher. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
