Product Details

Children will be read to, participate in in-depth discussions, and do activities, crafts, surrounding the book for that week or two. Teachers will be working on literary acquisitions skills that will be helpful for the child for the remainder of their school career. This class does not focus on learning to read, however, many of the comprehension skills children will need for the future, will be practiced in depth in this class.

As we are able, we will obtain the following books to read in class. All work and materials will be taken care of in class. You do not have to read the books at home or provide for any homework. That does not mean we will be able to read each book in its entirety. Books fall in and out of print and are more or less expensive depending on the year. We will do our best.

If you do decide to purchase any for your children, this is an incredibly beautiful collection of books and would be a fantastic asset for any home library.
