Let's adventure through a celebration geography and world cultures!
Ah! To travel the world exploring the traditions and cultures of the world will be so exciting! Each week we’ll study a new location. We’ll color maps and sometimes build clay maps, learn the flags, hear the music, learn about tradition and special World Wonders. We’ll tuck all of our papers into our binders so that we’ll have a lovely scrapbook “Passport” at the end of our year of fun studies. Learning through crafts, games and more, we'll explore landforms throughout the world, and cultures. While there is no textbook, the library offers lots of books on different countries of the world, and this would be a great way to enrich those who thirst for more.
We will be tasting foods and treats specific to countries. It is very important that we have a list of food allergies to be aware of as we prepare.

Required Materials: 22 tab dividers, pencil, 2 inch or larger three-ring binder with pockets (We hope for a clear sleeve front so we can slide a picture of your kiddo in as their passport photo!) Plastic blow up globe to keep at home, but mark off “destinations”. We may ask individual parents to send a treat from a particular country a few times throughout the year.

** All classes require online family registration
and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost listed in the title of the class is per year and can be divided into 2 semester payments due no later than the first day of each semester. This can be done here online or send in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to Homeschool Life Adventures the first day of each semester. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
