A new twist on 3D art - build your own landscape and lay track to have a train chug past!

CHOO-CHOO! All aboard! In this class we will explore the wonderful world of model trains. Using the HO scale to model, students will build their own modules to connect and display at the end of each semester. Building modules will include but not be limited to: Sculpting mountains out of foam, painting backdrops, making paper mache trees, using resin to create rivers and lakes, and laying down tracks. Students will work together to connect all the tracks to then turn on the electricity and run a train around the backdrops they have created.

** All classes require online family registration and enrollment. Year-long classes carry a $50 yearly enrollment fee. This enrolls your student in the class for the entire year. There is no need to re-enroll for 2nd semester. The cost listed in the title of the class is per semester and is due no later than the first day of each semester in an envelope labeled with your student's name & the class name with cash or a check made out to the teacher. Registration and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.
