Heidi Williams has know since she was very young that she wanted to be a teacher, and
even at eight years old would “teach” her friends and relatives with a big chalk board.
After graduating from Taylor University in 2009 with degrees in Elementary Education
and Early Childhood Education, she ultimately decided to stay home and homeschool
her own children, now 15, 3, and 2. She embraces the rich beauty of living books and
learning through doing, and her teaching style favors Charlotte Mason. She has many
years experience teaching and working with children of all ages in public school,
Sunday school, individual tutoring, and summer camp. She has held many volunteer
positions over the years as well, which have given her a wide variety of other skills that
could be passed on to others. Heidi has much experience working with children with
unique needs and is able to adapt lessons for them. At home she enjoys gardening,
hiking, camping, fiber arts, and hanging out with her family and many critters.
