Mariana Sanchez

Mariana Sanchez is a full-time mother of two children, 11 and 4 years old, who are bilingual. She makes an effort so they can speak fluently in both languages, specially Spanish because her husband and she are the only people who speaks to them in Spanish. They are learning English with correct pronunciation with friends, at school, and people outside of home.

Mariana studied environmental science in Mexico, but is now at home with her children. She thinks it's important to be able to learn languages and learn about other cultures, because it increases empathy and perspective on the world. She loves spending time with her family and really enjoys walking by the river in spring and fall. She's not as big a fan of extreme cold or hot, though.
