This class is an in-depth study of the human body and how it works. In this class the students will learn about the human body’s tissues, organs and organ systems and how they work together. Students will be able to identify the different areas of the body and understand their function.
This is a high school college prep level class and 4-6 hours of at-home study is expected in order to come to class prepared. Grades will be a cumulation of class preparedness, participation, homework, and module tests.
If taken with the additional lab this class will be an advanced biology credit if biology has already been taken. Without the lab you may count it as a science elective.
Class is open to 9-12 graders plus any motivated and mature 8th graders. If you have questions please review the Apologia website or talk to me.
